These are addictive. Not only are they sugar free but they’re soo good and really ridiculously easy to make! Definite crowd pleaser with super nostalgic flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup carob molasses
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180C
  • Mix dry ingredients then add the wet ingredients and mix them together to form a dough
  • The dough should be soft and not sticky
  • Roll the dough into small balls, depending on the size of the cookie you want
  • Flatten the ball out and dip one side in sesame seeds
  • Bake for 8-10 mins, being careful not to overbake them. Once you remove them they might be a bit soft, that's perfectly okay they will harden once cooled down

    Hello, love this recipe!

I like to have a stronger carob molasses flavor, how can I increase the carob molasses to tahini ratio? Also can I prepare the dough in advance and cook it the next day?

    Thank you!

Hello! yes you can, make sure to roll the dough into balls and flatten them, then chill them in fridge. It’ll be much easier than keeping the dough whole. As for the molasses you can start by removing 1tbsp tahini and replacing with 1tbsp molasses. its a very forgiving recipe, so should work

Does it work with whole wheat flour? 🙈

If I only have Carob powder, can I still make it work?
