For the cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon espresso powder
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

For the filling

300g @pucklebanon cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 180º C. Prepare your cake pans by spraying with baking spray or buttering and lightly flouring.
For the cake:
Add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt and espresso powder to a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer. Whisk through to combine or, using your paddle attachment, stir through flour mixture until combined well.
Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix together on medium speed until well combined. Reduce speed and carefully add boiling water to the cake batter. Beat on high speed for about 1 minute to add air to the batter.

Pour half of batter into greased cake pan and top with the cream cheese filling
Finish off the cake by pouring the rest of the batter to cover the cream cheese

Bake for 45-50 min
Do not flip before at leastttt one hour

Superrrr easy

You need for the cake:
150g Greek yogurt
200g sugar
Zest of 1 lemon
3 eggs
1.5tsp vanilla
360g flour
2tsp baking powder
180g sunflower oil

For the crumble
4tbsp melted @lurpakarabia
2tbsp white sugar
2tbsp brown sugar
4tbsp flour (keep some extra in case you need more)

Preheat oven to 180C
In a bowl mix eggs with sugar and vanilla
Add yogurt and mix well
Add lemon zest and mix
Add the flour and baking powder, mix just until combined then add the oil and keep mixing until smooth batter forms
Place in a lined loaf pan

For the crumble
Mix all ingredients together, if still wet add more flour until it is crumbly
Top over the cake batter

Bake for 45-50 min or until crumble is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean

It is delicious, but, I would skip the pasta. That’s just me

Here’s the recipe with some alterations from my end

1 onion diced
2 carrots diced
2 celery diced
2tbsp olive oil, or more
6 garlic cloves minced
1tsp oregano
1tsp chili flakes if you want it hot
3-5 sprigs thyme

First fry the holy grail aka onion,carrot,and celery, once wilted, add in the garlic with the thyme,oregano, and chili flakes
Season them well with salt and pepper

Once all have cooked well, add

500g ground lamb
Season with more salt and pepper and stir until it has browned

Drop in 3tbsp tomato paste and fry them all together for few minutes
Add in
6-8 cups of lamb stock or any stock of choice, keep some on reserve in case you feel water has evaporated
Add in 2 cups tomato sauce or marinara sauce
500g white beans (fresh and not dry) or in cans
1 bay leaf and a Parmesan rind

Being to a boil then lower heat and simmer covered for 30
Open and add in 1 cup pasta of choice (smaller the better) I would omit just because it’s heavy with it
Let it boil for 4-5 min then add it 2 cups of chopped kale and juice of one lemon

Taste, adjust seasoning, and serve with Parmesan on top

Make sure to taste it to see if it requires more seasoning
